Long nails or short ones?

What's stylish these days? The talon-long nails or the ones that are neatly trimmed short? Fire-red, nude, or pink?Long nails or short ones?
Dark colors make nails look shorter. Beat this by leaving a white strip on the side of your nail as you paint.

Small nails look bigger if you use shimmery or metallic polishes.

Pale colors are best for girls in a hurry. They show fewer mistakes, and chips are more easily disguised.

To make unpainted nails or natural nails look longer, run a white nail pencil under the tip.

Bluey red nail polishes can make mature hands look older. Stick to vibrant reds or paler shades.

Always wipe nails with a cloth before painting. Any oils left on the nails will prevent polish from sticking and increase the risk of chipping.

If a nail chips, the best thing to do is remove the polish and begin again. If you don't have time, dip your finger in polish remover and smooth it over the chipped area to soften the edges. Now, repaint that area and the cover with a topcoat to reseal the nail.

If you smudge polish while it's drying, dab your fingertip in remover and use it to smooth the surface, then repaint with a topcoat.

If nails break, the only thing you can do is cut them off. If, however, the break is low down, take a teabag and cut a tiny strip of gauze. Apply this to the nail and paint over it with clear polish.

Don't apply nail polish remover to gunky nail varnish, as it will dry out the nail. Instead, use specialist thinners that are available in beauty stores.

These are all of my nail tips and, to answer your question, it doesn't matter. Wear whatever you like and it'll be great. Of the above choices, I myself like a medium-long nail painted nude or soft pink.Long nails or short ones?
SHORT NAILS PLEASE EVERYONE! The talons are so out!

TO be super trendy, wear colors that are dark and that pop! Any rich colors will work, even a really rich pink or red will work well. I am wearing a deep burnt orange right now, but I typically wear black, blue, brown, purple, burgundy, or forest green! It is wonderful, because you can change polish to match you mood, or outfit! No more going to get your nails put on. Now you can just paint and go! I do get manicures and pedicures every few weeks so that I make sure my nails are healthy, but I don't do the artificial nails.
Neatly trimmed is all the rage right now.

For a time, long nails were great, but I think right now, it's much more ';classier'; to have neatly trimmed.

Nude/earthy colors are great for this type of weather (:

Short nails, neatly trimmed. French manicure is still in. Look at the celebrities nails.
