Small dogs and long nails?

My dog is limping and we have not cut her nails for a long time.will that be the reason why she is limping

Don't know. Long nails can alter a gait that is for sure. If her nails have grown so long they have curled under and are growing into their paws that would definitely change the gait.

she could be limping if she has a cut or something in her pad try washing them with warm water if her nails are long then get them cut its easy to get them one take her to dog groomers or the vets
