Do you need long nails to have a manicure? or do they out fake ones on?

When you go to a nail salon you have many different options. They will do whatever you want.


1). A manicure: It doesn't matter what your length is. They will clean your nails and paint them any color you chose. Typically costs anywhere from 10-15 dollars.


2). A Full set: This is when they put tips on and use acrylic. It is usually used to get longer nails, but you can get it cut to any length you want. Typically costs just anywhere from 20-35 dollars.


3). Gel tips: Its the best for your nails because it looks better and doesn't damage them. It is also the most expensive (around 40-50 dollars). I wouldn't suggest this for first timers.





So when you go just ask for a manicure or a full set, depending on what you want. I usually get a full set, because my nails don't grow and they look better. It can be expensive because you do have to have them refilled every 2-3 weeks, but i think its worth it. Do you need long nails to have a manicure? or do they out fake ones on?
Nope you can have short nails and get a regular manicure, where they just clean up and paint your real nail.


With short nails you can also get french tips, where they glue on a nail tip and paint it white.


Or you can get a fake nail put on top of your real nail and get that one done.

You definitely don't have to have long nails to have a manicure .. they can work with your current ones. If you want fake ones put on, they can do that too, but it's a little more expensive.


I personally wouldn't suggest put fake nails on for they ruin the healthiness of your current nail so that when you decide to take the fake nails off, your real nail is damaged until it grows out.
you don't need long nails to have a manicure. if you ask, they'll put some fake ones on for you. they have a product which helps your nails grow faster. i recommend it through personal experience. even though you don't NEED long nails you could still have some.
You don't have to have long nails. It depends on what you want. If you prefer using your own nails then you would get an American manicure. If you want to use fake nails you would ask for a French manicure.

I can't ignore uneven or broken nails so I trimmed mine down.


Within 2 days they have grown very fast so you could wait a bit if you like.

they add the acyclic nail over the top and it doesn't matter how long or short your nails are. if their real short from biting it could hurt a little
