No, not at all. They're just weird, like the crypt keeper or something. I get the impression that women with long nails, especially ornately painted ones, are almost disabled, in a way, with them. and are vain.

Long nail can be tacky for the most part. keep a little bit of nail but make sure they are clean looking for that anything.
not those freakishly long fake ones that so many women seem to find attractive. they just look like talons to me. just past the edge of the finger looks good though.

long nails can be very uncomfortable, and you have more chances to break them any time. so shot or little bit long is ok
