I want really nice healthy looking long nails - so I don't have to keep having fake ones!?

what vitamins are needed for nice strong nails??I want really nice healthy looking long nails - so I don't have to keep having fake ones!?
If you want faster growing nails, be sure that your diet is rich in Vitamins A, B-Complex, C, D, E and iron, calcium, zinc, sulfur, and the essential fatty acids.

If you have brittle nails, it may be because of iron deficiency. The best sources of iron are lean red meat and green leafy vegetables. Nuts and seeds are another good source, but if you want to take a supplement, choose an aminoacid chalated iron which is three times more absorbable than other types.

For Vitamin A, look for fruits that are yellow and orange or veggies that are dark green.

For Vitamin C, options include citrus fruits, peppers, strawberries...

For Vitamin D, look to your dairy products.

For Vitamin E, a supplement is your best option.

For zinc, options include kidney beans, rice, chicken or cheese.

Hope this helps! Good luck with your nails!I want really nice healthy looking long nails - so I don't have to keep having fake ones!?
erm i dnno about the vitamins but sally hansen nail groth formula is really good i had short bitten nail and within two weeks they were long and strong.
this sounds bizzare!! but....jelly. eat jelly, its really good for neils and it makes them hardened too so they dont break as easily

)
By applying fake nails all the time will make your own nails weak, brittle and easy to break. They will make the nail bed become quite thin and when the nail does grow they will just break off.

I always used to have nail extensions done every 4 weeks and my own nails were terrible.

I stopped getting them done and started to use a nail protector by Sally Hansen. After about only a few weeks i noticed a difference and now i have nice long nails of my own and their free!!

Keep using the nail protector and go for regular manicures to keep the cuticles healthy. Good luck!!
